Gonzalo Gonzales, Jr., DO is a board-certified and fellowship-trained interventional pain physician and physiatrist at Texas Star Pain & Spine.in Plano, Texas.
Dr. Gonzales completed his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He went on to complete his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, where he also served as chief resident.
Following his residency training, Dr. Gonzales completed an ACGME-accredited pain fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. He now specializes in pain management for a variety of health conditions, including sciatica, joint pain, back and neck pain, chronic headaches and migraines, as well as herniated discs and fibromyalgia. Dr. Gonzales also offers pain management solutions for challenging conditions like complex regional pain syndrome and failed back surgery syndrome.
To provide relief to his patients with chronic pain, Dr. Gonzales offers a wide range of noninvasive and interventional pain procedures. Among his innovative treatments are a variety of injections and blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulator trials and implants.
Dr. Gonzales is originally from Dallas and enjoys serving the North Texas community. He’s currently accepting new patients.
