SHOUT OUT! We want to say thank you to John and Lulu with Capra Environmental Grazing Services. For the last few days we have gotten calls about a loose sheep running near Lewis Stein and Big Horn. Today our officers arrived near Guttridge Park when the sheep was there but it continued to evade officers. So they called in Lulu (who is owned and handled by John) since she is a professional herding dog! John brought some goats and fencing to help lure the loose sheep. While luring was unsuccessful, Lulu went straight to work and after finally herding the goat into a smaller space, officers were able to safely contain her and get her into their vehicles.
Thanks for stopping what you were doing and coming to help you two! Oh and if you’re missing a sheep (appears to be a Barbados or Barbados cross), please give us a call. She’s had a rough few days and would like to go home!

CLOSED! I am thankful for my amazing sellers and buyers. Jumbo loans are very difficult but fortunately working together and a diligent lender we were able to get this home closed!

Thank you for your generous support of our Thanksgiving Turkey Drive for Elk Grove Food Bank Services and Chicks in Crisis.
This Thursday, we will deliver over $3,200 in Turkeys to these two great organizations, plus $1,200 in checks made out directly to the Food Bank for food to accompany the turkeys. In addition to your generous donations, Kevin at Walmart Elk Grove - Elk Grove Blvd, added an additional $800 in Turkeys to our efforts.
Please know that your generosity will make Thanksgiving a whole lot nicer for many south area families.
