We're continuing our virtual International Week with a video from Jennifer Huffman, a Urasenke tea practitioner and Midorikai graduate from the Professional College of Chado in Kyoto,Japan.
This video shows a "Yobanashi no Chaji", which is a nighttime tea gathering, with some of her students.
As part of this week, the public is invited to come enjoy the garden for FREE this Sunday from 9 to 5.

We are saddened by the news of the passing of David McClinton, our former Board Chairman. David, who was approaching his 83rd birthday, passed away Sunday night, March 14. David was one of the original founding members of The Bank of Fayetteville back in 1987 when he began serving on the board. In 2005 he was named Chairman of the Board of Directors and assumed his leadership role with grace and dignity. David inspired our employees to be the best they could be and genuinely cared about our well being. He did so much for our community and will be sorely missed. Our hearts go out to his family.
This is a landmark day; one year since fear became reality. One year since courage, and kindness joined forces to calm and comfort, adopting new strategies of unwavering strength. We mark this day as the beginning of a year we saw customers and co- workers inspire us with amazing honor and grace. Let's continue to inspire the best in each of us!
