Gordy bucks are back! After watching the government print another trillion dollars backed by nothing but ridiculous faith, we figured at least ours is backed by something real like a cup of coffee. We're honestly surprised at this news, despite that fact that he was 98. Al's presence in the U of MN/Dinkytown community was large, vibrant, and farther reaching than you may know. We're going to miss him barging into the shop to rope us into one of his projects, or pick Kristen's brain for usable pieces of Dinkytown's history. RIP AL!
As far as we know, our shop remains the only place you can pick up his magnum opus (in our eyes at least) The Dinkytown Uprising. He was slipping us 5-10 copies at a time, so supplies are fairly limited. All proceeds will go to Al's estate until we hear otherwise. Link to buy online is in the comments.
