Lars Landers, DC, DIBCN, DIBE, is a board-certified chiropractic functional neurologist who specializes in drug-free, nonsurgical treatment of brain and nervous system disorders. As director of The Brain Center in Southborough, Massachusetts, Dr. Landers focuses on long-term solutions to help patients achieve better brain function without the need for follow-up treatment or maintenance plans.
Dr. Landers’ training and education spans a broad range of holistic health modalities. After earning his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, he served as a captain and engineer in the United States Army. Then, Dr. Landers completed massage therapist training at Montana School of Massage in Missoula, Montana, and went on to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL.
With a passion for improving brain performance, Dr. Landers completed post-graduate training in neurology and is a diplomate of the International Board of Chiropractic Neurology. He’s skilled in techniques that allow the brain to heal itself, such as neuromodulation, neuromuscular re-education, sensory-motor integration, vestibular rehabilitation, and more.
Dr. Landers primarily works with adults and teenagers, but he treats children younger than age 12 on a case-by-case basis. His approach to treatment is based on the brain's ability to remodel itself and adapt to change.
