In addition to Dr. Sarowitz’s expertise in all areas of general and preventative dentistry, his advanced surgical training allows him to perform wisdom tooth extractions, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and periodontal gum surgery as well as placement and restoration of dental implants.
Dr. Sarowitz graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2009, completed his residency at Long Island College Hospital, and served as an operating room attending at Long Island College Hospital/SUNY Downstate from 2010 to 2012. While part of the medical board staff, Dr. Sarowitz formed a strong relationship with the community, especially through his commitment to treating children and adults with developmental disabilities. As an attending, he provided advanced training in special needs management to dental residents.
