About

The Brooklyn Home Company (TBHCo) is a boutique development company that envisions living spaces distinguished with art and design. Our in-house creative team brings life into our buildings down to the smallest detail, with custom hand-crafted elements, environmental features and integrated art pieces. Dedicated to responsible construction, we build smart and energy-efficient homes that will bring life-long comfort and joy while enabling a lower footprint for the common good. Our new construction projects follow passive house principles, striving towards air-tight building envelope and insulation systems in our homes to allow cleaner, healthier living for our customers. The Brooklyn Home Company works on a national portfolio of residences and hospitality projects.

TBHCo’s @fitzhugh_karol is among the artists included in Field Formations Cooler Gallery curated tile collection with Concrete Collaborative. Custom colors available Opening Reception tomorrow, March 7, 2020 7-10PM at Cooler Gallery 22 Waverly Ave, Brooklyn, NY Artists: Jenny Hata Blumenfield, Naomi S Clark, Dan Covert, Recreation Center, High Gloss, Cody Hoyt, Caroline Z Hurley, Fitzhugh Karol, Ben Medansky, Michael Yarinsky, Heather McKenna, Object & Totem, Aelfie Oudghiri, and Dusen Dusen Concrete Collaborative has partnered with Cooler Gallery to manufacture artist-designed tiles for the architecture and interiors market. Each artist selected by Cooler Gallery was either known for bold pattern making or beautiful craft in ceramics and was tasked to create a tile that can work well as an individual and also have a strong tessellation concept. The patterns are unidirectional, multidirectional, or randomized depending on the artist's vision. The tiles are not painted, but made of tinted encaustic concrete in a labor-intensive hand process in Concrete Collaborative's California factory. For the launch, the artists' tiles are to be presented throughout Cooler Gallery's expansive show space as glowing islands and meandered through by the visitors. The innovation and material craft brought forth by Concrete Collaborative and the playful curiosity of all of the artists involved combine to form a new, stunningly beautiful collection that is different from just about anything on the market and we can't wait for people to make them part of their spaces for years to come. cooler-gallery.com @waycoolergallery concrete-collaborative.com @concretecollaborative Direct order: https://concretelove.com/collections/cooler-gallery
