The Calli Institute, located in Maple Grove, MN was born out of its founders’ vision to provide the highest quality mental health services in a way that honors the uniqueness and value of each individual, family or couple who seeks our care.
Calli provides services for children, teens and adults. These services include Individual Therapy, Family & Couples Therapy, Group Therapy, Psychological Testing and Medication Management.
The Calli Institute’s model of care is based on the combined concepts of person and family-centered care and a wellness model to direct the services that we provide.
Person and family-centered care is a specific approach to the planning, delivery and evaluation of health care. It is based on a partnership between health care providers, clients and their families. The core concepts that lay the foundation for this type of health care are dignity and respect, education, participation and collaboration. Wellness is a process of gaining awareness and satisfaction from activities that promote fitness, nutrition, positive relationships, stress management, life purpose, and commitment to self-care. At Calli, we believe that health and illness are not mutually exclusive and that one can maintain wellness even in the presence of disease. Wellness is a strengths-based model that focuses on personal responsibility and self-empowerment. A wellness lifestyle consists of a balance of health habits that include adequate sleep, nutrition, productivity, exercise, purposeful and meaningful activity, social contact and supportive relationships. Wellness is a persistent effort to stay healthy and achieve the greatest potential for well-being.
Calli consists of a multidisciplinary team of professionals who work collaboratively to help achieve each client’s personal goals. Each member of our team shares the same values of dignity and respect for each individual, education and knowledge about your condition and how best to care for your needs, and the participation and collaboration between the clinician and client as well as family and other significant people in the client’s life to the extent that he/she desires. Each member of our team is also committed to health promotion and balanced living.
