What's EVV? If you receive Personal Supports, this webinar is for you! Join the DDA’s Director of Family Supports, Mary Anne Kane Breschi, as she facilitates a conversation about how EVV works at home and in the community. This session will begin with a brief presentation by Medicaid on EVV. Next, Mary Anne will interview a Maryland DDA provider and family about their experiences using EVV as part of the DDA’s LTSSMaryland pilot program. They will share tips for all families, as DDA rolls out EVV across the State. There will be a live question and answer session at the end of the webinar. This webinar will occur twice: September 30 at noon and on October 28 at noon. While the opening presentation on EVV will remain the same, each webinar will feature different family members and providers sharing their experiences. You may register here. Both sessions will be recorded and posted on the Maryland Community of Practice for Supporting Families page of the DDA website and linked on the EVV resource page. https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/5314989040849664523 REGISTER.GOTOWEBINAR.COM register.gotowebinar.com

Good Afternoon TCLE families, After Governor Hogan’s announcement last evening, which outlined a rollback to phase 1 of the Maryland reopening plan, we wanted to confirm our plans to re-open both the Calvert and Hollywood hubs on Monday, November 16th. At every stage during this public health emergency, TCLE has been strategic and incremental in its approach to providing services. That same care has gone into the reopening plan, therefore TCLE is fully compliant with the new guidelines issued by Governor Hogan last evening. Some key components of our re-opening plan are outlined below. There will be (3) 2 hour sessions where individuals and their staff may be in the building receiving services. This may or may not comprise of an individual's total day of services depending on their current schedule of services. Session 1: 8-10am Session 2: 10:30am-12:30pm Session 3: 1-3pm Staff will continue to provide transportation for services including to the hubs. A maximum of 15 individuals and direct support staff will be in each hub during each session. Each individual and their support staff will attend the same session every day, likewise they will use the same room for services. Each room is used only once throughout the day and there are no individuals or staff in adjoining rooms to limit the exposure to everyone. Individuals and staff will enter and exit from the external door attached to their designated room. Masks, social distancing, hand washing and other safety procedures must be followed. Eating will not be allowed in the hub, due to the need to remove masks to do so. Drinking/hydration station will be available with the use of straws that can be done without mask removal. While staff are responsible for ensuring the room is clean and tidy for the next session, there will be a 30-minute break between sessions for enhanced cleaning. At TCLE the safety and well-being of every individual is our primary goal and that has not changed. If you have any questions or concerns please contact A. Freeman at freemana@tcle.org or call 301-373-8100 ext. 23
