Madness. Forcing trials during a pandemic does nothing for justice. If both parties agree to trial, I’m sure it can be done safely. But that sounds like a situation that did not need a jury in the first place.

Both Republican and Democrat affiliated judges are revoking and raising bonds for absolutely no reason. A magistrate judge will hear probable cause and set bail. A day or two later, the Defendant appears in the District Court and that Judge revokes and raises the bond amount without hearing anything new or different than at Magistrate Court. It is improper and abusive.
