Based in Newport Beach, California, Matthew H. Clark, MD of The Clark Center for Urogynecology is a board certified OB/GYN and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon. With extensive knowledge of the birthing process, Dr. Clark understands the effects childbirth can have on a woman both physically and medically.  Dr. Clark’s specialized training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery allows him to restore both form and function to the pelvic floor and vaginal area.  
Dr. Clark’s expertise extends beyond post-birthing reconstruction. He works with patients to improve sexual function, reduce pain, and repair the damage caused by age, trauma, activity, hormones and disease.  Dr. Clark’s focus is to restore women’s anatomy and function under an umbrella of interrelated services called RestorHERation. Dr. Clark’s RestorHERation services offer women an opportunity to achieve their feel good confidence and to feel "like I used to feel."
At his Newport Beach clinic, The Clark Center for Urogynecology, Dr. Matthew H. Clark is nationally and internationally recognized for both his surgical skills and his way with patients.  Dr. Clark is a member of two elite groups of physicians: The AAGL Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and The Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery. Few physicians are awarded these exclusive professional designations.
Dr. Clark is a family man who is married to his wife of 27 years. Together they have four children. He coaches youth soccer and enjoys swimming and current events.
