Strokes often have devastating effects on many areas of function.Post-stroke depression (PSD) is a common consequence of stroke. However, today the majority of PSD patients remain untreated or inadequately treated. Typical medications used for depression have significant side effects and are doomed to long term failure.
This study did a meta-analysis to evaluate efficacy and safety of hyperbaric oxygen (HBOT) therapy for PSD, in which seven electronic databases were comprehensively searched for randomized clinical trials (RCTs) from inception to May 2019. Outcome measures included response rate, depression severity, neurological deficit, physical disability and adverse events.
The authors found that there was significant improvement in these measures, and concluded that HBOT is an effective and safe therapeutic approach for PSD.

Metabolic syndrome is common and becoming even more frequent. Arterial dysfunction is a hallmark of early atherosclerosis, and is always present in patients with metabolic syndrome (MS). This study investigated the role of oxidative stress on blood vessel function.
The authors found that arterial dilatation is impaired and that enhanced oxidative stress may play a key role in patients with MS. When patients were given IV Vitamin C it significantly reversed these effects.
Vitamin C and other nutrients provide the basic support needed for health. If you have any cardiovascular or problems handling sugar levels, consider adding Vitamin C IV's to your program.

Brain injuries of all types can cause long term problems. This research has found out one of the reasons why this occurs.
Even mild concussions cause severe and long-lasting impairments in the brain's ability to clean itself of toxins, and this can. contribute to the development of Alzheimer's disease, dementia and other neurodegenerative problems.
As one author stated, "Then there's also anxiety, depression, suicide. The reasons why TBI results in increased risk for this isn't totally known, and we think that our findings might provide a mechanism as to why."
If you've had ANY kind of brain injury, from mild hits to severe strokes, I encourage you to add Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to your treatment. It has the unique ability to reduce or even reverse the damage.

Concussions can have effects that continue long after the event.
This study looked at the effects on executive function, which is the ability to control cognitive functions like attention, inhibition, performance, flexibility, stability, working memory, and planning. They found an overall lower performance rate from those in the concussion group during the task-switching exercise. They were less accurate and processing performance was low.
This finding was present even when the typical symptoms of a concussion were no longer present. If you've have any type of head injury, I strongly urge you to obtain Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. It has the ability to reverse the damage done by concussion and other head injuries.

Cancer is all too common, and chemo and radiation have their limits and can damage healthy tissue. Fortunately, there is a treatment that can help with this.
There is evidence showing that Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) can inhibit cancer growth. Studies have also shown that combining oxygen therapy with chemotherapy can slow the growth of cancer. When there is inadequate oxygen there is some tumor resistance to chemotherapy drugs. HBOT can decrease this resistance, making chemotherapy more effective.
If you have cancer, or have already been treated, consider adding HBOT to your treatment program to improve your chances at recovery.
