My mom found this on the Henderson Genealogy site. This is from the 50's or 60's. Apparently the main side of the store was Norge Appliances, & the embroidery side once housed the Goodwill. Thought you might like to see this.

This weekend has been very rough on myself, my bosses & my co-workers. Please keep us all in your thoughts & prayers. This coming week will be very difficult for us all.
Thank you Henderson for all the love & support you have shared with us over the nearly past 30 years. As you may know by now, the store met with some unfortunate events overnight. We will keep everyone posted to what will happen in the coming days.
Have a Happy & Safe 4th of July Weekend everyone. We will be taking a 3 day weekend here & will be closed on Friday July 3rd. We will reopen July 6th at 8:30 am.

Just a little note to say Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary to the owners of The Color Connection Ellen Mitchell and Dave Mitchell. Congratulations!
It is with regret that we announce the Color Connection will not reopen. After operating for 30 years, this is not the way we wanted it to end. However, there are too many obstacles to restore the business to what it was.
Over the years, we have been blessed with many great employees who helped build the business while turning out superior products. Our customers were the best; we tried to make each and every one a part of the TCC family. We were privileged to make many new friends as well as renew some old friendships. Our products were shipped all over the world thanks to our customers.
We wish each and everyone nothing but the best for the future. Thank you for allowing us to serve you.
