In order to provide you with up-to-date information, upcoming event dates, and new promotions in regards to Sunset Wood, we have created the Sunset Wood Family & Friends Facebook Group! In this group our Admins will post all relevant information (Wellness Program Schedules, Promotions, Updates, etc.) for you to access and share with your loved one. We believe this will be the best platform for you to receive notifications if you choose.
To join the group:
- You must be a family member or friend of a CURRENT tenant at Sunset Wood
- You must fill out the three pre-requisite questions to be approved
- You must follow all the group page rules (basically be nice/respectful to staff and other members)

With the rise of COVID cases in our area greatly affecting senior citizens, The Community at Sunset Wood and The Community Foundation have recently partnered to make an impact in the community to provide Google smart display devices to seniors that will help them to “age in place” and enjoy social programs during a time when in-person and face-to-face gatherings are limited.
The $4,000 investment from the Faxton Street Home Fund of The Community Foundation will assist with the purchase of Google Nest Hub Max Smart Displays which will be used to battle social isolation & help our seniors age-in-place with the help of these devices. Phase I of this program was filled in only 1-day so it proves that there demand for these types of devices within the senior population.
