Devin has two years!
It is truly amazing how much a person can change in such a short amount of time.
Devin has spent the last two years of his life not only growing personally, but also finding time in his day to provide help to those in need.
Recently, this young man left our nest and ventured out on his own. Although he still stays close to the TDRC Family he is building a life of his own. Devin is now a full-time student in college, following his dreams and aspirations.
Even as his life continues to move in an exciting new direction, Devin still finds time to share his fellowship with others within The District community.
Devin’s commitment to living a sober lifestyle and staying focused on achieving personal milestones is inspirational to us all.
Congratulations, Devin. NOW GET THREE!
Nick has one year!
It is truly a blessing to have witnessed the change in personality and spirit this young man has undergone.
Nick’s life today is unrecognizable compared to when he first walked through the doors here at The District.
Today, Nick is back home in Texas living his best life and we could not be more proud to see him reach his one-year milestone.
Congratulations, Nick. NOW GET TWO!
We wanted to take a moment to give a special shout out to a staff member who goes above and beyond on a daily basis.
Caitlin has truly put her fingerprint on all aspects of the program here and we could not be more grateful.
With 12 years of experience in the field of substance abuse and mental health treatment her knowledge and dedication is a privilege to all the lives affected by her tireless work.
Not only does Caitlin excel in the impressive task of daily commitment to our clients and their families, but she returns home to excel in the daily care of her three beautiful children.
Everyone who crosses paths with Caitlin is lucky to have her join their life and we couldn’t be more grateful and blessed to have her as an integral part of our family.
Thank you Caitlin, for ALL that you do.
Chase has one year!
Although this is not his first attempt at long-term, sustainable sobriety, Chase is working hard to learn from the past and to create a better way of living for the future.
Today, you can find Chase working on himself mentally, physically, and spiritually, all while never passing up an opportunity to lend a helping hand.
We are incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to witness the change in this young man's life.

Jon has two years!
Two years ago Jon showed up at The District with an open mind and the willingness to try what he had never attempted before.
Although he struggled at first, he was committed to bettering his life.
Jon got to work right away, placed fear in the back seat and showed dedication and commitment to his sobriety.
By following simple direction, Jon has created a beautiful life for himself.
Not too long ago, spending a weekend with family out on the lake was not an option - today, the world is his oyster.
Congratulations, Jon, NOW GET THREE!
Nick has four years!
In order to achieve such a milestone a fair amount of work must be done. Selflessness, patience, and rigorous honesty are just a few of the many principles that one must live life by daily. Nick embodies all of these characteristics so it is no wonder he stands proud today as a sober man.
Nick had not felt comfortable in his own skin for years. The smiling man you see in these pictures had not been truly happy in a long time. After putting in a decent amount of work his smile began to return, Nick began to feel comfortable in his own skin once again.
Nick realized that helping others was his calling, he returned to school and obtained education in the field of addiction and chemical dependency.
Today, Nick is a crucial part of the TDRC team, he spends his days helping other men and women who are still searching for their escape from the throws of addiction.
Congratulations Nick and thank you for all that you do.
NOW GET FIVE!
Patrick has three years!
Anytime someone takes any length of sobriety, it is a HUGE accomplishment and Patrick’s story is one that provides inspiration to all.
Three years ago, Patrick was homeless and living on the streets of Massachusetts. Then one day, he was given an opportunity to go to treatment.
He knew he needed a fresh start, so he made the decision to accept an aftercare plan and to continue his treatment with us at The District.
Patrick has continued to put his best foot forward on a daily basis while inspiring success in the men and women with whom he works daily.
We are so grateful to have been a part of this young man's journey and we are excited to see what the future holds for him.
Congratulations, Pat, NOW GET FOUR!
We wanted to take a moment to recognize a woman who has played an integral role in turning our community into what it is today.
Jamie has been a part of our family for more than three years. Her positive attitude has been an asset to our staff and her endless patience has helped shape our client culture.
Her professional achievements are not all that we're celebrating, because today, Jamie also marks six years of sobriety.
It hasn't been a cakewalk, but her life today is unrecognizable compared to what is was.
Her relationships with family and loved ones have never been stronger. As the pictures indicate, Jamie is now fully living her life everyday.
We wish her continued happiness and we are proud to have her as a member of this family.
Congratulations, Jamie, and thank you for all that you do.
NOW GET SEVEN!
Jake has one year!
When Jake first made a decision to turn his life around, he was asked what he desired most out of sobriety. His answer was simple: happiness.
As you can see from the pictures below, Jake has achieved this goal. He found a brotherhood within The District that showed him the way.
Today, Jake is helping newcomers to find that same happiness for which he was so desperately looking. His repaired relationships with family are a powerful example of how quickly one's situation improves when they choose sobriety.
We look forward to watching your continued growth, because we know this is just the beginning for you.
Congratulations on your one year milestone, Jake! NOW GET TWO!
Although this year has been one of unique challenges and circumstances, we are full of gratitude this Thanksgiving at The District Recovery Community.
We are reminded of all the lives we've had the privilege to be a part of and all the incredible people who have made our community what it is.
Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours.
Esther has one year!
This woman right here made a decision to change her life. With zero expectations and a thirst for change, Esther did just that.
Today, her life is drastically different than it was just one year ago. And of course, this is just the beginning, because everyday we stay sober, life gets just a little bit sweeter.
Congratulations, Esther. NOW GET TWO!

We are so grateful to have been gifted the opportunity to watch this young woman grow into the woman she is today.
Congratulations, Tea. NOW GET TWO!
Fishing was a "reel" hit.
We had a great time out on the open water sharing some time together as a community. Sobriety opens the door to a world of opportunities and provides a life full of more fun than we ever could have imagined.
The District Recovery Community updated their website address.
