The Ellis Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Norwood is seeking Full/Part Time:
Activities Assistants to work in our Dementia Unit. Prefer CNA's.
Monday - Sunday - 8am-4pm - variable schedules
Requirements
The right candidate needs to have compassion for working with elderly patients with memory loss or dementia.
Responsibilities include implementing group and individual activities to encourage socialization and improve daily living skills.
The ability to conduct groups on your own and plan programs.
You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Reliable
Be flexible in performing various activities based on residents' needs.
Current CNA License in the State of MA. preferred.
Good communicator
Must pass a criminal background check.
