Our Commitments To Keep You & Our Coaches Safe During And After The COVID-19 Pandemic.
At The Exercise Coach® we are passionate about delivering safe, effective and time efficient, science-backed personal training. Our clients enjoy the results they get from 20-minute, customized strength training, in a small, clean, private setting.
We are not a gym. Our appointment-based coaching is offered in small, professional suites across the country. We specialize only in one-on-one personal training and semi-private personal training. As a result, we have been able to adapt our processes to preserve the safety of our clients and coaches as we re-open our suites across the country.
Our number one priority has always been client safety. This is what our industry-leading innovation is always aimed at. We have created a safe environment for physical conditioning. We have created a safe environment for emotional support. And now our, already immaculate training suites have procedures in place to further enhance the hygiene of our training environment.
Each and every Exercise Coach® location is expected to adhere to federal, state, and local requirements for re-opening and ongoing operations. These requirements may vary based on individual jurisdictions. We are prepared to adhere strictly to requirements such as but not limited to:
✅ Strict physical distancing / social distancing
✅ No more than 10 people in our studios. Some jurisdictions will require even fewer and we will comply
✅ Semi-private personal training session with a coach to client ratio of no more than 1:4
✅ Strict sanitation policies including disinfecting touch points after each session
✅ Masks worn by all staff members
✅ Hand-washing or hand-sanitizing by each member upon entry
✅ Employee temperature checks
In addition to preparing for strict adherence to governmental requirements, we have partnered with MicroShield 360® for enhanced germ protection. MicroShield 360® is a preventive surface technology that kills bacteria and viruses on contact. We have required all franchise locations to apply MicroShield 360® to all touchpoints in their location. MicroShield 360® is non-toxic, EPA and FDA certified, and safe even for food contact surfaces.
We also think it’s important that you know that we are committed to utilizing non-toxic cleaning products, soaps, and air fresheners, as well as prohibiting our coaches from wearing perfumes/colognes which may be allergenic. Our EPA-approved disinfecting wipes, for example, are completely non-toxic.
While we are saddened by the tragic effects of COVID-19 on our nation, we are as energized as ever before to follow our calling to help people maximize the life they have been given through safe, effective, and time-efficient personal training.
(Recipe of the Week) Zesty Lime Shrimp and Avocado Salad, a light and refreshing salad that requires no cooking! Serve atop some greens as a salad, wrap in a jicima wrap or cassava/almond flour wrap, or enjoy as-is!
Zesty Lime Shrimp and Avocado Salad

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup chopped red onion
2 limes, juice of
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp kosher salt, black pepper to taste
1 lb jumbo cooked, peeled shrimp, chopped*
1 medium tomato, diced
1 medium hass avocado, diced (about 5 oz)
1 jalapeno, seeds removed, diced fine
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
INSTRUCTIONS
In a small bowl combine red onion, lime juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Let them marinate at least 5 minutes to mellow the flavor of the onion.
In a large bowl combine chopped shrimp, avocado, tomato, jalapeño.
Combine all the ingredients together, add cilantro and gently toss. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

(Recipe of the Week) You'll fall in love with this easy creamy pumpkin soup! So simple and full of nutrition and delicious flavor, this soup is perfect for a chilly fall day. Make in your instant pot or prepare stovetop.
Easy Instant Pot Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients
15 ounce can pure pumpkin
4 carrots cut into chunks
1/2 medium yellow onion cut into chunks
2 teaspoons minced garlic
3 cups low sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth
1 cup full fat coconut milk
salt and pepper
Instructions
Place pumpkin, carrots, onion, garlic, and broth into the Instant Pot. Stir to combine. Seal lid and cook on Manual setting for 8 minutes.
Quick release or naturally release pressure when cycle is complete. Use an immersion blender or blend in high-powered blender in batches to puree the soup until smooth and creamy.
Stir in coconut milk and add salt and pepper to taste.
