My husband and I and our trained staff have been providing art and frame restoration and archival custom framing in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area since 1991. We never compromise on the quality of materials used. As art restorers, we are very aware of the damage poor framing can do. Too much of our restoration work involves repairing damage caused by acidic materials used in previous framing. Sometimes, especially if the framed piece is needlework, it is impossible to return it to its pristine state.
We clean oil and acrylic paintings, repair tears and holes and replace missing paint . We line old fragile canvases, clean and repair art on paper, documents, sculpture, old photos and antique frames. Whether your art is a museum piece or a sentimental painting by a family member, it receives the same professional, careful attention. As an art conservator and restorer I am a perfectionist and require my staff to be perfectionists as well.
We frame virtually anything, from a simple poster or drawing to needlework, objects and memorabilia. We have shadowboxed everything from military medals and sports jerseys to a fossilized raptor claw, antique swords, and even a lion pelt.
No job is too large or too small, all work is guaranteed and advice is always free.
