An innovative leader in the field of podiatry, Michael Frazier, DPM, PA, offers preventive care, diagnostic solutions, and cutting-edge treatments for minor to complex foot and ankle issues. He welcomes new and existing patients to The Frazier Foot & Ankle Center in Cypress, Texas.
Dr. Frazier studied pre-med at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, where he attended on a basketball scholarship. He went on to earn his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. After graduation, Dr. Frazier began his three-year surgical training, starting at Millcreek Community Hospital and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Health Care System in western Pennsylvania. While there, he went through an extensive foot and ankle reconstruction training. During this part of his residency, Dr. Frazier focused on fracture management, limb deformity correction, and forefoot and hindfoot reconstructive surgery.
Shortly after completing his residency training, Dr. Frazier returned to Cypress, where he grew up, to open his private practice. He received his master’s degree in medical education and strongly believes in self-study, research, and training resident physicians.
Dr. Frazier’s specializes in complex foot and ankle issues, including Charcot foot, as well as pediatric and adult-acquired angular foot deformities, he regularly receives evaluation and treatment referrals from across the region.
Patients of Dr. Frazier commend his thorough care and ability to educate them on all available treatment options. Since Dr. Frazier regularly consults with various orthopedic companies to develop new surgical products — and even teaches other surgeons how to use these advanced products — he’s always offering the latest and most modern treatment techniques available.
When he’s away from the clinic, Dr. Frazier spends time with his wife, Kristin, their son, Michael Jr., and their dog Bear. Dr. Frazier enjoys basketball, reading, and lifting weights.
