A few shrubs for fall color: Prairie Flame Sumac, Redtwig Dogwood, Fire Chief Arborvitae, Quickfire Hydrangea.
Looks like we might be getting some frost tonight. Protect your more tender annuals like ornamental peppers, rudbeckia, and mums that are in full bloom. Under a covered porch or a sheet they should be just fine. Perennials, shrubs, trees, pansies, and mums that are tightly budded will be ok without protection.
