Dr. Lonnele Ball is Director, Endocrinologist & Chief Scientist at the Institute for Predictive Medicine & Longevity. Located in the scenic Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, this innovative institute applies state-of-the-art technologies towards the analysis of genetic, diagnostic, and behavioral data for the prediction of individual disease risk and prevention. Dr. Ball’s vision at the Institute for Predictive Medicine & Longevity is to create exponential wellness for every patient where “Health-span” and “Brain-span” matches Lifespan. The Institute partners the brightest minds with the most talented physicians, compassionate care-givers and cutting edge technologies to transform healthcare and heal humanity one patient at a time.
Dr. Ball has dedicated her impressive career in Endocrinology towards specializations within the fields of Regenerative and Predictive Medicine. Before founding the Institute for Predictive Medicine & Longevity, Dr. Ball taught and performed research at the University of California, Berkeley in the areas of Behavioral & Reproductive Endocrinology with collaborations that are on going in Clinical Oncology & Predictive Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Ball’s impressive education includes advanced degrees in biochemical and molecular nutrition from the prestigious Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University in Boston. Additionally, Dr. Ball earned her doctorate in Endocrinology through the Department of Molecular & Cell Biology at University of California Berkeley and the Departments of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco.
Along with board-certified Genetic Counselors & Licensed Psychologists, Dr. Ball’s Wellness Team and Affiliate Physicians are experts in Integrative Functional Medicine, Internal Medicine and Regenerative Medicine, Endocrinology, Metabolomics & Nutritional Science. In addition to the expertise of the Wellness Team, The institute’s Scientific and Engineering Team is actively developing and implementing cutting-edge wearable technologies in medicine and continuously analyzing patient data streams to optimize treatment outcomes real-time.
