The Insurance Lady and Associates are prepared to begin conducting face-to-face meetings again! We have taken necessary precautions to provide a safe environment for both our clients and agents. We do request that any visitors to the office wear a face mask, to ensure we can provide services as safely as possible to all. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you all soon!
To everyone receiving a Premium Tax Credit towards your individual health insurance purchased through Healthcare.gov, please remember your PTC is based off of your income. If you are experiencing changes in your income due to the COVID 19 pandemic, it is important to report them. If you lose your job, or otherwise experience a loss of income, you could qualify for an increase in your PTC, lowering your monthly premium. It is also important to note that unemployment benefits, including the $600 increase, are considered a part of your Modified Adjusted Gross Income. If filing for unemployment benefits, or receiving the additional $600 per week, actually increases your income, it might lower your PTC. It is important to report these changes in a timely manner to avoid headaches when reconciling your PTC and MAGI during tax time next year.
The Insurance Lady & Associates are still working and available to help you with your Health Insurance needs. However, in response to the current COVID-19 issue, we will temporarily not be conducting face to face meetings or allowing non-staff members into the office. Our office hours will remain the same and we are more than happy to continue to provide you with the same customer service you have come to expect via phone or email. We will conduct business as usual through both of these points of service.
Please feel free to call us at 815-397-7030 Monday - Friday 9A - 5P or email 815insurance@gmail.com at any time!
