Dr. Jim Parry is a native of the Cleveland area. After graduating from Kent State University, he attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed a five-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at State University of New York (SUNY), Upstate Medical University. Dr. Parry then went on to complete an additional fellowship specializing in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under the tutelage of internationally-renowned Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Calvin Johnson, Jr., at Tulane Medical University & Hedgewood Surgical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Colonel (Dr.) Parry also continues to serve as a reservist in the Ohio Air Force National Guard as the 179th Airlift Medical Group Commander & Flight Surgeon. Since beginning his military career in 1986, he has been deployed numerous times in support of combat, peacekeeping and humanitarian missions, including Sarajevo, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, Guam, and earthquake and hurricane recovery operations in Haiti.
