Ali, as she is known to her friends and residents, was a 19 year employee of the Home and will be dearly missed!
Ali served in several clinical roles, lastly as a Restorative Nurse.

A sure sign of Autumn......the annual construction of the Jewish Home's Sukkah!
The Hebrew word- Sukkah means "booth" or "tabernacle", which is a walled structure covered with plant material, such as palm leaves.
A Sukkah is a temporary dwelling in which farmers would live during harvesting, a fact connecting to the agricultural significance of the Jewish holiday Succos, which begins at sundown on October 2nd.
Each year our residents enjoy decorating the Sukkah and celebrating Succos with tradtional holiday treats!

The Jewish Home Auxiliary Opening Luncheon scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic. During the luncheon it is tradition to hold the 3/$12.00 raffle.
Instead, volunteers and board members, Eileen Baine and Lee Janczak came to the Home and held the drawing!
Sondra Goldman is the Second Prize winner of $100.00 and Judith Corr is the First Prize Winner of $200.00!
Congratulations to both winners and we thank them for their generosity as they both donated the winnings back to the Jewish Home! The proceeds will be used to benefit the residents.
