Our Chiropractor
Dr. Sander was born in St. Louis, MO. April 4, 1954. My father worked as a welder for local pipelines and as a result we moved constantly. I was in the 5th grade before I was in a whole semester from start to finish at the same school.Later I joined the Navy and as a result from my childhood, service time, and personal travels I have been in every state in the United States and every continent in the world except Europe.
While in the Navy I was trained to work on and repair radar systems and after the service I became a computer service technician and worked at this for 23+ years.
In 1992 I was working late at night at a computer site and was driving to another site when I was in a traffic accident and broke my neck in 2 places. I was in a halo for 5 months and out of work for over one year. At the time I was told that I might not be able to return to my previous occupation and that I should consider a new career. During the year that I was off I decided that I wanted to be a Chiropractor. So even though I recovered enough to return to my old job, I soon left and started Chiropractic college in 1996 and graduated in 2000.
After graduating from Chiropractic school I went on to get a fellowship in Chiropractic Pediatrics and Maternity Care, became a certified Hypnotherapist and got a BS in nursing and plan on taking the NCLEX in a few months to get my RN license.I have 5 kids and 7 grandchildren, am belted in two different styles of martial arts and enjoy playing golf whenever I can.
