At the Law Office of Andrea L. Truppa, LLC, our main goal is your satisfaction. We strive to provide you with compassionate, professional and prompt legal representation. When confronted with a legal crisis, we understand the challenges you face physically, emotionally and financially.
Andrea has been a trial attorney for over 20 years. Her litigation practice focuses on advocating for people who have been injured in car accidents or on-the-job. She also helps clients develop estate plans and prepare important legal documents such as Living Wills, Power of Attorney Forms and Quitclaim Deeds.
Andrea graduated from Catholic University, Columbus School of Law in 1997 and Boston College with honors, magna cum laude, in 1994. Upon graduation from law school, she clerked for Chief Judge Mary M. Lisi of the United States District Court, District of Rhode Island. Andrea worked for law firms of many different sizes in Boston and Providence before finding that being a solo attorney in the "Quiet Corner" was the best fit for her. She enjoys working closely with her clients and giving them the personal attention and care that they deserve.
In her former role as probate judge, Andrea was invited to speak at QVCC, UConn, and local senior centers about Wills and probate law. She has reviewed hundreds of estate documents in her former role as probate judge and prepared hundreds of such documents in her private practice. She is admitted to practice law before the state Supreme Courts and federal district courts of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
She is a long-time member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers' Association, Windham County Bar Association and CT Bar Association. Andrea remains active in the local community as Chaplain of the Ekonk Community Grange volunteering at various charitable events throughout the year. She is also a member of the Eileen Brown Charitable Trust, the Killingly Business Association and St. James' parish in Danielson.
For the last several years, Andrea has resided in Killingly with her husband and son. Whenever possible, she enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.
