A native Virginian, Christina James earned a bachelor s degree in Political Science from Yale University in 1999. Christina returned to Virginia and graduated from the Marshall Wythe School of Law of the College of William & Mary in 2002. She has been practicing law in the Hampton Roads area ever since.
Christina began clerking for the chief judge of the Norfolk Circuit Court. After working for the Public Defender s Office in Norfolk, Virginia, Christina was an Assistant Commonwealth s Attorney in the City of Hampton for five years. She has been in private practice since 2008, representing clients in the state and federal courts of Virginia.
