Geena Khomenko George’s practice focuses on criminal defense, general and commercial litigation in Delaware state and federal courts and real-estate transactions. Geena represents a number of condominium and homeowners’ association boards and renders legal opinions on DUCIOA law and transactional matters. She is an experienced former criminal prosecutor. She also represents individuals and corporations in various types of civil litigation.
Geena earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Widener University School of Law, where she was the Copy Editor of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and a Vice President on the Moot Court Honor Society. During her final year in law school, Geena was a Wolcott Fellow for the Delaware Supreme Court, clerking in the Honorable Henry duPont Ridgely’s chambers. Following law school, Geena clerked for the Honorable Charles W. Welch, III and the Honorable Anne Hartnett Reigle in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.
Geena received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware in Sociology and Criminal Justice and worked as a licensed realtor in Delaware and Pennsylvania for eight years. She is fluent in Russian.
She is admitted to practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association and the Rodney Inn of Court.
