A Mailman Handcuffed in Brooklyn, Caught on Video
Be careful! It is not against the law to have a drink and then drive but with new laws the police will arrest you and can ruin you - even if you are below the legal limit. Protect yourself. Know what to do before you get in the car. Say Nothing! Do not take any tests. You cannot beat them alone at their game with their rule. Level the playing field and make sure you call and have the best fighting for you.

Ex-Oscar nominee busted for DWI with son in his car: cops
Never let the government invade your privacy. It is the greatest right you have and they will do anything they can to destroy it in an attempt to build a case against you. It's nice to see big business standing up for privacy rights. Make sure you have a lawyer that will stand up for your rights.

Overzealous and aggressive officers can ruin your reputation and your life. No one likes to get a parking ticket but there is clearly more to this story. Police need to be taught how to evaluate a situation and interact with the public. Dr. Wellner has dedicated her life to helping the underprivileged and less fortunate when it comes to life saving medical care. To arrest her and parade her around as a criminal is outrageous. Now this becomes a political show. Let's hope justice sees the right side and prevails in her favor. Pay the ticket and dismiss the charges.

Surgeon trying to avoid parking ticket rams car into cop: police
I agree with Cook. The problem here is that once the government has this capability they could use it as part of their investigations prior to making any arrest. If nothing relevant is found then the rights and freedoms of the individual have been violated and they may never even know. The government could be investigating a person for A and wind up learning about B. This is unwarranted fishing that tramples a persons right to privacy. There are no safeguards as to when or how it could be used - clearly the individual would not be notified prior to any such investigation which would mean that no one would be able to protect their rights before such action was taken.

Public outcry fuels arrest. Negligent behavior perhaps, but criminal conduct that carries up to 15 years in jail, highly unlikely.
