Steve Ortega is a proud 5th generation El Pasoan. After graduating from Cathedral High School, he attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He earned his law degree from The George Washington University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Ortega served two terms on El Paso’s City Council. In addition to his private practice, he consults regarding matters affecting local, state, and federal public policy.
