I had the pleasure of styling @amberrrleee_ and her bridal party a few weeks ago on her 8.8.2020 wedding day. I, know what an awesome wedding date! It wasn't the day she envisioned, but she took it in stride. Choosing to postpone her big celebration in exchange for an intimate family brunch.
Amber and her family hold a special place in my heart, I’ve been her hairstylist since she was in middle school and to be included I her wedding day was an honor. She was so kind enough to let me share a few great pictures of her hair.

Hair Talk: Coconut Oil For Your Hair

Although coconut oil has many benefits, it is NOT the best product for your hair
•
I know it sounds counterintuitive because, wouldn't you want to use coconut oil to help moisturize your hair? Well, it penetrates through the hair shaft, causing a protein build up. This will confuse your hair causing it to feel dry, stiffer; less elastic (prone to breakage)
•
For fine hair you will notice your hair feels smoother and softer. However, repetitive use will cause an over production of the oils, causing a protein build up.
•
Although this oil has a ton of benefits for your health and is enriched with fatty acids, I'd recommend only using it for cooking and not for your hair
