FUENTES SEEKS YANEZ NET WORTH AS HE PURSUES LARGE DAMAGES AWARD
December 7, 2018, Los Angeles, CA - Over a year has passed since Paco Fuentes filed suit over the physical attack by the Mexican Celebrity Eduardo Yanez at a Hollywood’s Red Carpet Event. Fuentes, thru his legal representation, Tre Lovell of The Lovell Firm, has filed a request to the Superior Court of Los Angeles, CA, to permit discovery into Eduardo Yanez’ personal assets and wealth as he seeks to obtain punitive damages in his assault and battery case against the famous actor. According to Mr. Lovell, “from my client’s perspective, deterrence and punishment constitute a significant component of this case, and assuming the evidence supports his right to do so, Mr. Fuentes intends to seek a very large punitive damages award against Mr. Yanez to be calculated based upon Mr. Yanez’ net worth and financial condition. My client is very excited to take this case to trial as he has always maintained that this case is not just about him, but is about the Freedom of the Press and ensuring reporters have the ability to do their jobs without fear of physical retaliation.” Trial is scheduled for April 23, 2019
