J. Nicholas Rachel, M.D.
Elbow, Hand, and Wrist Specialist
Dr. Rachel completed his undergraduate degree at the University of South Alabama before receiving his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile. Following his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Rachel went on to receive advanced fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery.
As a board-eligible pediatric and adult hand and upper extremity surgeon, Dr. Rachel’s practice focuses on the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of hand, wrist, and elbow injuries and conditions.
Dr. Rachel is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. When he’s not seeing patients, he enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
