Cleve Dayton, Founder of The Painting Pros, Inc., started painting in 1974 as a way to pay for college. To his surprise, he quickly found out he was an excellent painter and that he really enjoyed the business. It was this experience that influenced him to pursue his passion and to further develop his expertise as a painter.
After college, he decided to get his Contractor's license in 1978 and started his career as a Painting Contractor. That same year, he established The Painting Pros, Inc. and has been serving San Jose with high-quality painting services ever since.
Cleve also has a General Contractor's license which enables his company to do other things like replacing damaged exterior trim and install interior trim (crown, chair rail, baseboards, etc.). As an environmentally conscious entrepreneur, Cleve was the first painting contractor to be 'Certified Green' in San Jose.
His desire to be the best earned his company the prestigious 'Diamond Certified Award' given to businesses rated highest in quality.
