The Red Pepper is a single-family-owned business. The owner's grandmother owned an Italian restaurant in Rochester, New York and that is where he began his training. Since that time, he has owned many restaurants around the country. He owned Bianco's Ristorante, a four-star Italian restaurant in Denver, Colorado for ten years, before moving back to the East Coast, and finally to Summerville, SC, where he opened The Red Pepper. The chefs at The Red Pepper make all entrees fresh from scratch when you order them, using only the freshest products they can find. The owner's wife makes the desserts. There is no substitute for quality. "Everybody becomes a little Italian at The Red Pepper."
