Shabbat Shalom: Residents of all faiths enjoy a weekly ritual of (Virtual) Shabbat. Also known as Shabbos, or the Sabbath, this is Judaism's day of rest on the seventh day of the week—i.e., Saturday. On this day, religious Jews remember the biblical story describing the creation of the heavens and the earth in six days and look forward to a future Messianic.
Sip and Paint: An evening with friends! Creativity and wine flowed while residents enjoyed sipping wine and painting on canvas.

Fighting to End Alzheimer’s: The Longest Day is a signature event of the Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter for which Senior Lifestyle is a Global Team, a national supporter of this effort, helping to raise millions of dollars in the fight to #ENDALZ. The Residences of Thomas Circle has been supporting The Longest Day efforts since 2018. Denise Kasper and her team were the FIRST team to register for the 2021 season and currently stand on top of the leaderboard for funds raised! The Association is so grateful and honored to have this partnership and are looking forward to the day when we can celebrate #TheLongestDay together in-person! The Residences at Thomas Circle is getting ready to expand its Memory Care Neighborhood to serve even more seniors facing the trials of dementia and dementia-related illnesses. Recently our residents’ association wrote us a letter about our community response to COVID-19 and their experience at The Residences at Thomas Circle over the last year, and we’d love to share some highlights from their message to us: “our management staff and team have done a wonderful job at keeping us safe during this awful year” “Compared to other communities, we have been kept safe with determination and hard work. And during all this time, services continued almost without a break: housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance provided; meals delivered; happy hour drinks and ice cream served via rolling carts; and more in-house activities and movies scheduled. We were well taken care of.”
