Meet Raven, our Director of Sales and Marketing! With a passion for long-term memory care, he brings over 36 years of experience in the field to our team at The Ridge Cottonwood! He understands the challenges those with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia face, and he brings that expertise to our residents and families every day. Raven was born in Maryland but spent most of his formative years in Ohio before coming to Utah to attend Brigham Young University. Outside of work, Raven is inspired by ballet, symphony, opera, and theater.✨
Raven is also a prominent leader in The Ridge Cottonwood's dementia support group! He meets with caregivers and loved ones monthly to discuss dementia and Alzeheimer's in a safe and open environment. 💜

She has previously worked in care and as a life enrichment director. She has a background in psychology and gerontology and especially loves working with the Memory Care population. She is a certified dementia dialogues instructor for the state of Utah and is also a trained facilitator for virtual dementia tours. She’s a mom of 5, ages 10-20, and enjoys music, photography, hiking and fiber art.

Meet Leslie, our Assisted Living Director! Leslie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Utah as a Service Learning Scholar in 2004. Upon graduation, she started her nursing career at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and continued with two years at the Children’s Surgical Unit in Primary Children’s Hospital. Leslie’s devotion to seniors drew her back to the aging population as a home health and hospice nurse. She found a career she truly loves, and soon earned a specialized nursing certification as a gerontological nurse. Now as the assisted living director at The Ridge Cottonwood, she enjoys serving each of the community’s residents, welcoming their wisdom and experience, their sense of humor, and their genuine appreciation of life.
