Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday the Colorado Snowsports Museum will offer a 60-minute Vail History Walking Tour for $5 per person. Take a look into the history of Vail, to learn how it became the town and resort it is today.

Vail Mountain was deemed ideal terrain by members of the 10th Mountain Division during WWII. The division was trained for alpine winter warfare and saw an opportunity here.
