This year's theme, “Caring is EssentiAL” could not come at a better time as our front line caregivers have done an amazing job providing essential care to our residents, even in the toughest of times. Though the week has come to an end, we really enjoyed celebrating our residents and staff.

Solana invites you to help us remember our veterans and thank them for their service. Please take a moment to submit an email address for a veteran you would like to honor. Your nominated veterans will receive a special video clip on Veterans Day from our very own residents and staff expressing our gratitude. We look forward to receiving your submissions on or before November 9th.

An estimated 5.8 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer's dementia in 2020. 80% are age 75 or older. One in 10 people age 65 and older (10%) has Alzheimer's dementia*.
In this series, we will learn more about dementia from early diagnosis to communication at late-stage dementia and we even have great information for those caring for someone diagnosed with dementia.

The CDC strongly recommends the COVID-19 vaccine and it’s so important that as many people as possible get vaccinated. We will be having our second vaccine clinic on February 5th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
