The LA County Board of Supervisors has allocated $15 million in CARES Act funding for childcare vouchers to serve essential workers and low-income families in the County.

California law requires your employer to pay you for the time you spend waiting in line to enter your workplace, regardless if it is for a health or temperature check.
If an employee discloses an illness or medically-related reason for an absence from work, the employer must maintain that information as a confidential medical record.
The COVID19 pandemic creates especially dangerous conditions for couriers. The Occupational Health and Safety Act prohibits retaliation against couriers for reporting health and safety concerns to their employer or law enforcement.
For gig drivers, Prop 22 means no overtime pay, the possibility of less than minimum wages, unreimbursed work expenses, no workers’ compensation protection, no paid disability eave, no paid sick leave, and no employee protections against discrimination or retaliation. These are just a few of the problems. Get the facts. Vote NO on 22.
