We have two sets of hours. One is gate hours, and the other is office hours. Gate hours are those times during which you can enter the premises and access your storage unit. Office hours are those during which we conduct the business of the facility. Gate hours cover a longer period than office hours.
Space is at a premium for most small companies. If you have in-store advertising signs and posters and racks that are only used for yearly inventory sales, for example, finding a place to store them can be a challenge. With self storage units, those materials can be safely stored away without taking up any valuable space in your business.
Never give out your password, gate code, or unit location to anyone. Also, make sure to report any suspicious activity you may see near the storage facility.
When you pack for self-storage, use strong boxes, protective packing materials, and try to use boxes in the same size, because that way you can stack boxes on top of each other to take advantage of storage place all the way to the ceiling.
If you know you're going to need access to some of your storage items, make sure you place them in the front on the storage unit, so you can get to them easier. You should mark all your boxes with their contents, too.
Self-storage units have the benefit that you can access them at almost any time of the day, in fact some are even open 24-hours a day. That means that no matter what you store in the unit, you know that you'll always have access to it.
