About

Our family owned practice has been serving the Eugene community since 1962. Our founder, Dr. Stan Blinkhorn, set out to create a place where pets and their people were treated with respect, honesty and dedication. His business partner, and our current owner, Dr. Nancy Johnson is honored to carry that vision to today. While some things might have changed, (we have an app now!) these core principals will always remain our first priority.

Our team is knowledgeable, compassionate and excited to help your pet live a happy, healthy life. Ever single person who wears our snazzy green uniforms carries the same passion for excellent veterinary medicine. In addition to offering 'traditional' veterinary services, we go beyond to offer you alternative options like acupuncture, Chinese medicine and stem cell therapy. Our commitment to excellence can be seen from our separate dog and cat waiting rooms, to our high-grade anesthetic, another way we keep our surgeries as safe as possible.

This afternoon a little thief has snuck into our hospital and stolen our hearts. Scarlett is so kind, inquisitive and polite. Her big feet tell us she's gonna grow up to be a big and wonderful girl. We're so happy we got to spend some time with her this afternoon. #doberman #bestjobever #dogsofinstagram #puppy #oneeyeddog #veterinarian #veterinarymedicine #puppylove #cuddles @ The Veterinary Hospital

Fun fact about Tango: when he is tired, he sleeps with his tongue sticking out. When he is really tired it stays out when he wakes up. #adoptdontshop #fosterdog #seniorpetsofig #blip #veterinarymedicine #veterinarian #adoptme #sleepy

We really do miss seeing you, thank you for your patience ❤️ Oregon Veterinary Medical Association November 23 at 3:57 PM · Many veterinary practices have been operating with curbside service since the spring but it is now a requirement from Oregon OSHA for veterinary practices to provide service primarily through a curbside model, with limited exceptions. We know it is difficult not to be with your pet in the exam room. On behalf of our member veterinarians, we appreciate your understanding. Veterinarians and their staff are working hard to continue to provide care for your animals during this challenging time, and to keep the veterinary team and clients safe.
