Monique Petteys, FNP-C, is a dedicated family nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health and wellness. With a focus on personal attention, Monique offers targeted, whole-person care to the women of Clayton, Georgia, at The Women’s Center at Life Point Medical.
Originally from California, Monique has lived in the Rabun County area since 1996. She graduated from Rabun County High School in 1997 and received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Piedmont College in 2006. She received her Master’s degree with a specialty in Family Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky in 2012.
Monique has 14 years of professional nursing experience and has worked in multiple specialties throughout her career, including medical/surgical nursing and obstetrics. She has extensive training in women's health and family medicine. She recognizes the importance of a holistic, whole-person approach to patient care, and also has a passion for rural healthcare and underserved communities.
Monique currently resides in Long Creek, South Carolina. She has two great teenage kids, Dylan and Nyla, and also three dogs, a cat, and several chickens. She is an avid animal lover and enjoys just being in nature. She loves spending time with her friends and family, cooking, gardening, hiking, rafting, traveling, yoga, music, and adventures of all kinds.
