Established in 1973.
Theo immigrated to the United States from a small village in southern Greece and began a restaurant with his brothers in Flushing, New York in 1969. When he married Stacy, also a native of Greece, the couple began to look for a smaller community to move to. Determined to fulfill the American dream they left their home country for, Theo realized Kalamazoo was an ideal environment to raise a family-warm, friendly people, good schools, and an interest in Greek food and culture! They moved here and bought a small restaurant on W. Michigan Avenue in downtown Kalamazoo, thus Theo and Stacy were the first to introduce Greek food to the Kalamazoo area. To give thanks to the community for welcoming and supporting the family, Theo and Stacy began offering free Thanksgiving dinners to the community in 1977. Although Theo passed on in 1994, Stacy continues this tradition to this day. Stacy invites you to come enjoy her rich Greek heritage of fine food and hospitality.
Gone to Theo and Stacy's most of my life. Stop in for a gyro whenever I'm in Kalamazoo. Never a disappointment.
So nice to find a menu with something different! Although you can still get a great burger and fries. Everything was fresh and tasty. Excellent Greek salad....
I just moved to Kalamazoo, and this is one of my favorite restaurants. It's nothing fancy, but their gyros and saganaki are amazing! This place really hits...
