In 46 States, Juneteenth is a recognized holiday. Today, Allstate Insurance has declared Juneteenth an Official Company Holiday and will do so ongoing. We are the first major insurance company to take this action. With short notice, I have been given the option to remain open or to close. It is my decision that we will close and instead honor those before us with a day of reflection. With that said, Friday June 19th our agency will be closed. In these uncertain times, I wanted to reach out to you personally about what we are doing here at the Thomas Allen Agency to continue to support you and your insurance needs. As the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, I am doing everything I can to ensure we continue to be available to meet your insurance needs, however; at this time we are facing a need to temporarily change the method in which we meet with our clients.

The safety of my team members, their families, and you the customer during this time is my highest priority. To provide the safest environment for the entire Thomas Allen Agency family of employees and customers, I am unfortunately making the decision to lock our doors and not have my employees conduct face to face meetings with customers. This temporary measure is intended to minimize the risk of exposure to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) for you the customer and some of our team members who fall into the at-risk populations.
Meeting your Insurance needs
At this time, I encourage you to leverage Allstate’s mobile and self-service options as much as possible to handle your insurance requests. While our doors will be locked during business hours and we will temporarily not be able to meet face to face, our offices will be fully staffed and available to assist you via phone and email to take care of most of your insurance needs, including the processing of endorsements, payments and/or new policy applications. Additionally, we will mail receipts to you if you drop off a payment through our mail slots during business hours.
