Are your feet feeling rough and cracked in this frigid winter weather? Dr. Blaney highly suggests the good old fashioned method of using a slathering of Vaseline petroleum jelly on heels and feet, then putting on and old pair of socks. Sleeping with socks on, if you can, is best. Even better, try to smooth them with a natural pumice after bath or shower first. Do this several nights a week and you will find it very helpful:)
With this frigid winter weather, along with the dry heat in our homes, you may find your feet and heels being extra dry and cracked. Dr. Blaney is a fan of good old petroleum jelly ( ie vaseline) to help remedy this situation. Put it on every night and then wear and old pair of socks to bed if you can. If you do this regularly, especially after bathing, your feet will thank you!
