Five of the MA RMV service center locations will be reserving Wednesdays in September exclusively for “Senior License Renewal” appointments. Customers 75 years of age or older whose licenses or IDs expire in September are eligible, including those whose licenses/IDs expired in March, April, or May but were extended until September. Hours and start dates vary by location.

😢💔 Worcester, sometimes you break my heart. Today is one of those days. I am sad to report that last night someone threw a rock through our store window and grabbed the cash register (empty) off the desk. I am even more saddened to report that a few hours later someone walking by used the opportunity of a smashed window to come in and steal even more. I know this could have been so much worse. I hate admitting this but despite that fact, I am disheartened and feeling violated by a city I have done nothing but love and encourage for years. A love I have committed my career, my life and free time to through Worcester Wares and POW! WOW! Worcester. I understand this wasn’t personal. At the very least I hope it wasn’t. I know there are bigger things happening than some broken glass at a tiny store. Times are tough for everyone. I know. The world is a different place than it was six months ago and even yesterday. I know. While there is a fight for justice and equality (which I will always fully support), and health and survival, we have lost our touch with each other and our compassion. We have divided in ways I have never seen. Worcester, be better than this. Making change is NEVER easy. Having a voice be heard is so so important but right now we are all screaming and trying to be louder than the person next to us. Worcester, please come together before this divide gets too wide to overcome. I dont pretend to be an expert on any of this and can only go by what I see and experience - which I know is different than what you or anyone else may see and experience. Worcester, I still love you and I will love you forever. I have hope and I will always believe in us and our ability to overcome. Worcester Forever 🖤 Jessica — P.S. Cookbooks are being sold with the recipes from the former Webster House. The proceeds are benefiting the Worcester County Food Bank and the cost of the book is $20.
There will be another hard-sell at Barrows parking lot on Sunday, Dec. 13 from 12-2pm. People are asked to enter the Webster St. driveway and remain masked in cars. It is a cash-only sale.
After this, beginning on Dec. 14., Barrows will have an allotment of books for sale in the store, first come, first served until they sell out.

Heads up folks - big snow storm on the way. Today, 2/1, the Mass Registry of Motor Vehicles will be closing at noon. Our staff is mostly working from home, so this shouldn't slow us down. But, we will likely close the office early as we monitor the storm. If we close the office, we will still be working remotely - we just won't be available to drop off/pick up paperwork. We will keep you posted.
