Dr. Thomas Lang is an OB/GYN at Progressive Obstetrics & Gynecology in Boynton, Florida. As a gynecologist and obstetrician, Dr. Lang offers a wide variety of treatments, with an emphasis on minimally invasive approaches. He can provide birth control, prenatal care, treatment for fibroids, and much more. Dr. Lang is well known for being gentle during exams and for providing the best in gynecology and obstetrics care.
Dr. Lang earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. He then earned his Master's degree in Biomedical Science from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Dr. Lang earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency with Baylor College of Medicine, at Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. During his residency, Dr. Lang was awarded with multiple teaching honors, including the "Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Surgery" award.
Dr. Lang is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He completed a two-year fellowship in this area at The University of Louisville under world-renowned gynecologic surgeon, Resad Pasic, MD, PhD. During this fellowship, Dr. Lang honed his skills in the areas of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and advanced laparoscopy. Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Lang relocated to the Boynton Beach area, where he currently serves as the director of the OB/GYN hospitalist program at Bethesda Hospital.
Dr. Lang is recognized internationally as a skilled surgeon and effective educator. He’s a member of the American Association for Gynecologic Laparoscopy, the American Medical Association, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. Dr. Lang currently serves as the Chairman of the department of OB/GYN at Bethesda Health.
