Thomas Redi-Mix will NOT be closing down during the shelter-in-place orders, due to the nature of our business we are considered essential for infrastructure. We do ask that employees and contractors continue to comply with the safety precautions we have set in place in order to reduce any un-necessary risks to our employees and to our contractors.
In order to adequately service our customers you MUST comply with the guidelines set forth by the company and respect the 6 foot distance between our drivers and contractors. NO handling ANY parts of the truck other than directing the chute back and forth. You may not for any reasons touch the hoses, nozzles, chute scrapers or any other additional tools brought by our drivers or any other part of the truck other than the handle to direct the chute.
Thomas Redi-Mix reserves the right to refuse services to any contractors who are not willing to comply with our guidelines during this crisis and/or if they become aggressive with a driver for following the set guidelines.
Thank you for your understanding and patronage. If we work together in a safe and diligent manner we can help slow down the spread of the virus.
Please practice the following guidelines per CDC recommendations:
1. Clean hands often:
Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially if you have been in public or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover surfaces of your hands and run them together until they feel dry.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
2. Avoid close contact:
Avoid close contact with people that are sick.
Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.

4. Cover coughs and sneezes
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.
Throw used tissues in the trash.
Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
5. Clean and disinfect:
Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches,countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets faucets and sinks.
If surfaces are dirty, clean them. Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection.
6. Face masks: If you are NOT sick you do not need to wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick (and they are not able to wear a face mask) face masks may be in short supply and they should be saved for care givers.
HOW IT SPREADS
There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus.
The virus is thought to be spread mainly from person-to-person.
Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet)
Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.

Concrete Mixers and Belly Dumps
Local hauling only, home every night.
Must be able to pass DOT drug test
Must Have a CDL for at least 1 year
Will train for mixer operation
Must have Belly dump experience for that position.
