There's so much misinformation about how much radiation there is in dental x-rays. We had a pregnant woman in earlier today who denied x-rays. It wasn't a big deal because her teeth were near perfect and her most recent x-rays from last year were immaculate. Anyway, I like to put things in perspective. This little chart is helpful.
Restorative dentistry is about our attempt to bring back the shape, color, and smoothness of the original tooth. Earlier today I took care of these two teeth and felt we had a really nice result. We do this everyday, multiple times a day. I expect these restorations to last for years. #dentist #downtownorlando #beautifulteeth
